Deborah "Deb" Daniel Goldstein, 71 years of age, passed away surrounded by her loved ones, Saturday morning April 24, 2021.
Deborah was born on September 14, 1949 in San Francisco, California to Elizabeth and Walter Edwin Daniel. She grew up in Palo Alto, California which is where she met Morris Goldstein while in high school. They officially started dating in college at San Jose State University and married in 1971.
After graduating with a BA in music she earned her teaching credential and began teaching in the public school system. Her love of music and passion for teaching led to starting a music school, South Bay School of Music Arts, in 1984. Deborah recently retired after more than 40 years of teaching music, touching hearts, and inspiring many lives. SBSMA, located in Milpitas, California continues to inspire all ages with music education.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 50 years, Morris Goldstein, her three children Aaron Goldstein, Daniel Goldstein, and Suzanne Ornelas, and her grandchildren: Roman, Lilah, Isabella, Luci and Brayden.
The family suggests planting a tree in Israel as a living tribute to her memory.
