Lisa was called home on December 2, 2020. She resided in Palo Alto, CA for 46 years. Originally from San Francisco, CA.
Lisa’s career choice was to help others. She was a Public Safety Dispatcher for 34 years. She retired from San Jose Fire Department in 2014. She loved her retirement years.
She enjoyed photography, the beach, baking, country music, swimming in her backyard swimming pool, playing tennis and traveling with her sister Maureen. Maui was her favorite. She adored her rescue four legged fur child, Josie.
Lisa was a big fan of the San Francisco Giants, San Jose Sharks, Golden State Warriors and NASCAR.
Lisa is described by many as joyful, sweet, caring, loving. A beaming bright light and a blessing to all that knew her.
Lisa, Gods child is survived by her sister Maureen Smyth, stepbrother Greg Wyrsch, godson Scott Candau and many loving cousins.
Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary Wyrsch, Father Leo Smyth, stepfather Robert Wyrsch and brother Kevin Smyth.
Lisa’s passing brings heartache to all that knew her. She will be deeply missed.
A service celebrating & honoring Lisa is pending.
