Obituary of Rita Frances Kull

Rita Frances Kull, age 89, passed away Friday, April 5 at Sunrise Senior Living in Sunnyvale, California.  Rita was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 13, 1930 to Mildred Zottolo and Nicholas Natiello.

Rita and William Fredrick Kull married in Chicago, Illinois on July 5, 1953.  After living in several states, they moved to Los Altos Hills in 1970 where they raised their four sons.  She volunteered over 7,000 hours at El Camino Hospital Auxiliary over a 35-year span. She was president of the Los Altos Hills Little League Women’s Association for two years and supported the Little League in various capacities from 1970 until 1983. Rita dedicated much of her time to scouting.  As a mother of four Eagle Scouts, she spent countless volunteer hours over two decades as a driver, counselor, organizer, and leader.

She is survived by her husband Bill of 65 years, her four sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren Bill and Linda (Alyssa and Shannon), Chuck and Kelly (Trevor, Dustin, Megan and Max), Frank (Joe and Ryan), and Rob and Diane (Nicholas and Hayley), as well as two great grand-children (Sofia and Kaylin) and many loving family and friends.  She loved unconditionally and we will miss her greatly.

The family would like to thank the memory care unit at Sunrise Senior Living of Sunnyvale for their seven years of dedication, love and care.

She was laid to rest at the Gate of Heaven cemetery, Los Altos, California.  Donations can be made to the El Camino Hospital Auxiliary or the Alzheimer’s Disease Research in Memory of Rita Frances Kull.
